About — Onimusha Guide
Last updated: September 14, 2026
Onimusha Guide (onimushaguide.com) is an independent, unofficial fan guide for Onimusha: Way of the Sword — the swordplay action game from CAPCOM starring Miyamoto Musashi, set in an Edo-period Kyoto twisted by Malice. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CAPCOM.
What we cover
We focus on the questions players actually search for, and keep each page tight and practical:
- Story progress and puzzles — practical routes, mission blockers, and puzzle answers.
- Combat and bosses — mechanics explainers and strategy where the necessary evidence is available.
- Locations and maps — area guidance, searchable map points, and browser-local checklists.
- Reference information — platform, edition, release, and system-requirement pages where those details are supported by an official source.
How we source information
Our goal is to be useful without guessing. We separate confirmed facts from hands-on impressions:
- Official details — such as platform, edition, release, and system-requirement information — are checked against official publisher or storefront material where available.
- Gameplay routes and puzzle explanations are published only when the underlying evidence supports the stated steps.
- Where information is incomplete, disputed, or not yet verified, we say so rather than presenting a guess as fact.
We expand coverage based on real player questions rather than padding pages for their own sake.
Coverage status
The site includes published full-game guides, but it does not claim to cover every mission, item, or location. The guide index reflects the pages currently available. A missing page is not evidence that a game feature does not exist.
