Switch 2 release date
The Nintendo Switch 2 version launches alongside PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on September 4, 2026. That date replaced the previous September 25 date for every announced platform, so older pre-order pages or articles may still show the original schedule.

Is there an Onimusha Switch 2 demo?
Yes. Nintendo's Australian game listing includes a Get demo link for Switch 2. Use the Nintendo eShop listing to reach it, then check your regional eShop because availability can differ by country.
The eShop listing does not establish final Switch 2 performance, so do not use the PC or console demo as a benchmark for this version.
Controls and play modes
The Switch 2 version supports standard controller play and optional Joy-Con 2 motion controls. Motion controls are an alternative input option, not a requirement; a complete control map is not available yet.
