Step-by-step route
Find the first procession
Travel to Shijo Street. Follow the red-lantern lane toward the thatched houses, pass the mat partition and approach the blue mist.
Check: Defeat every Genma until the objective changes to looking for the other Night Parades.
Clear the riverside procession
Return to the Shijo Street mirror area. Take the passage beside the baskets and pots, cross the hut clearing and continue past the plaster-sided house to the river.
Check: Clear the second group; the objective now points to a dangerous presence.
Defeat Byakue and collect the charm
Return through the red-lantern lane to the first clearing. Defeat the accompanying enemies and Byakue, including its renewed attack after recovering health.
Check: Byakue dissolves; approach the glowing item on the ground to recover the charm.
Finish the return scenes
Continue the scenes with the troupe member and Murasaki.
Check: Story Complete — The Night Parade, with Iron, Leather and Power Stones.
The Night Parade sends you to two Genma processions around Shijo Street, followed by a Byakue encounter. The lost charm appears after the final fight. Clearing the first group alone does not finish the search.
Optional discovery at Hanamachi: The Warrior's Head
Along the wooden riverside platform beside the Hanamachi stage, look among the red parasols and low bamboo benches. Approach the purple trace on the boards beside the tall illuminated sign and press Cross (×) — Examine.
Finish the investigation to release a Lion Dog and receive Curious Cases Updated — The Warrior's Head. You can then return along the platform to continue the troupe member's request below.

Accept the lost-charm request at Hanamachi
Speak to the Troupe Member wearing an orange headcloth, beside the stage decorated with colored hanging strips and tall banners in Hanamachi. A customer lost a charm while fleeing a procession of spirits.
Finish the conversation until New Story — The Night Parade appears. Track the story and use L2 + R2 — Oni Vision so that the current destination and golden trail identify the next procession.

Clear the first procession behind the lantern street
At a Spirit Mirror, choose Travel → Eastern Kyoto → Shijo Street. From the arrival mirror beside the bamboo fence, move into the wide street lined with red lanterns.
Follow the golden trail along the lantern buildings, then take the lane toward the smaller thatched houses and bamboo fences. At the hanging mat partition beside the huts, go around its end and continue between the houses. The first procession appears in blue mist near the wooden gate and large pale roots.

Approach until the objective becomes Defeat the Genma. Keep the enemies in front of you: L1 guards, Circle (○) evades and Square (□) attacks. Deal with nearby sword enemies before aiming at the floating attackers. For targets out of sword range, hold R2, aim and release to fire the Oni Bow.
Clear the whole group, including the floating red attacker near the mat wall. Continue only when the objective changes to Look for the other Night Parades. Ordinary supplies in the clearing are separate from the story reward.
Find the second procession beside the river
Return along the hut lane and red-lantern street to the Shijo Street mirror area. If you left to do another story, traveling back to this mirror gives the same starting landmark.
Take the market passage beside the lantern building, passing the pots, large baskets and wooden stall. Continue into the small thatched-hut clearing, then follow the side of the tall plaster-and-timber house toward the river. Pass the little paved entrance with two stone lanterns; the route continues along the building's outside toward the open riverbank.

The second blue-mist procession waits beside the wooden fence and river. Approach to trigger Defeat the Genma, then clear the group. Watch the large tongue-bearing enemy while handling the smaller attackers; avoid standing between it and several sword enemies.
After the last enemy falls, check for Look for the dangerous presence. This is a new destination, not another instruction to search the same riverbank.
Return to the first clearing and defeat Byakue
Retrace the path past the plaster-sided house, market passage and lantern street. Follow the new destination back through the thatched-house lane to the first procession's clearing.
Byakue — Hundred Defilements appears with more Genma. Clear nearby support enemies when you have room, and keep space for Byakue's sweeping blade attacks. Guard with L1 or evade with Circle, then counter after its follow-up swings finish. Use the Square weak-point prompt when it appears.

Byakue can recover health and resume fighting. Continue through that renewed attack until its body dissolves. Byakue’s Talisman ×2 appears as the combat drop; this is not yet the returned-charm reward.
Approach the bright item beam on the ground beside the hut after the fight. Musashi picks up the charm and the following scene confirms it is the item being sought.
Return the charm and finish Murasaki's explanation
Continue the return scene with the same orange-headcloth troupe member at Hanamachi. Let the subsequent Murasaki explanation finish as well.
Check for Story Complete — The Night Parade. The reward notices include Iron ×2, Leather ×2 and Power Stone ×2. The Night Parades Curious Cases entry also updates.
The customer's returned charm is a story item. Do not treat its description in the conversation as a newly equipped defensive effect.
